THE FIRST LADY OF SONG

ELLA FITZGERALD

Ella Fitzgerald, also known as the The First Lady of Song, changed jazz history forever. Considered like one of the most influential vocalist, she put a spell on the whole world with her "quick-witted improvisational skills" and her powerful voice. Born on April 25th in 1917, she would have been 101 years old today. We created this page so you get familiar with her work and life by compiling some interesting articles and blog articles.

Discover her voice

We created a playlist for you to discover her life's work. We believe that a magical way to get to know Ella's work is through her rare and magical live recordings. The album "Live at Mister's Kelly" is out of this world. My favorite song is Love Me or Leave Me, she never sang that song before and she brings the audience with her through her discovery. She incarnates jazz by being so easy-going, humble, and fun! The whole album is a treat!
